Today is August 25th and I thought I would write and let you know what we, as Hannah's foster family have observed since her arrival.

. She interacts with all dogs in the family. Loves to play with them inside and out. Many times will start the contact.
. When you call her to come into the house, she does. If she wants to come in on her own,she comes to our family room window and looks in.
. She shares her food and shows no food aggression at all.
. She LOVES to be outside, BUT is comfortable in the house too.
. Will lay in your lap on occasion, but not pushy.
. Eager to go for walks, although she will need leash training, not to pull.
. Is not afraid of thunder, fireworks, or loud noises. Therefore, I believe hunting for this reason, wouldn't be a problem for training.
. Likes to sleep on a doggie bed during the nap times, but would easily sleep in your bed at night, if allowed.
. There are no kids in the house, but I don't see that she would have a problem with them. She likes to play and they would fill the bill.

Hannah is a sweet little girl with a ton of energy. I believe that with all this energy is the reason she is thin. She loves to run the yard for birds. She likes to play with another dog/s, so having another one in the house would be a plus. Kids play when they want, dogs play whenever. She will definitely make a good house pet and possibly a hunter, with training. You wouldn't be disappointed in this little girl. She has a lot of love to give and is a very easy dog to take care of. Her needs are no different than any other family dog.
Her time has come to move on from fostering and find that perfect forever home.

Contact Illinois Birddog Rescue and see for yourself how sweet she is.
