Update August 1st.

Today was just too hot to do any real bird chasing so I stayed in most of the day. This gave my foster mom a chance to get to know me. What she found out about me was; I'm a little sweetie. I like to cuddle, I do the Setter "talk", I can lay around without getting antsy, I walk okay on a leash, but a little training wouldn't hurt either. I'm a good little vacuum cleaner. I don't beg for people food, but I'll watch you eat. Just in case there's a crumb that may fall, I'll clean it up for you.

Hi there, this is Hannah's foster mom. Hannah forgot to tell you these things too. I've observed that Hannah likes to play with balls in the yard, will chew on rawhide sticks occasionally, but hasn't shown any interest in water (swimming pools) at this point. Doesn't appear to like sprinklers, so she goes around them. Doesn't like smokey fires (like burning leaves) Whether any of that changes, only time will tell.

She can jump up on a bed to sleep with you, but she's so tiny you don't know she's there. She will keep your chair warm for you, will snuggle in your lap and watch TV. She likes to be around people. But, she's not "in your face" for attention. She likes to play with other dogs, so having another around would be great. A way to burn of energy, such as, a large yard, dog park, forest preserves all with a fenced-in area would be fantastic. But pack a lunch! It will be a while before she tires out.
